Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Manufacturing

H&HIS’s Client is a well-established manufacturing company operating in Vietnam. We are currently seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Lead and oversee the entire Finance & Accounting function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial and management reporting.
– Partner with the Board of Directors on financial strategy, business performance, profitability, investment decisions, and risk management.
– Lead the development of Annual Budget and Rolling Forecast, including budget management by department, cost center, product, and business activity.
– Establish and drive comprehensive Cost Control and Cost Optimization initiatives across the manufacturing operation.
– Oversee Manufacturing Costing / Product Costing, including Standard Cost, Actual Cost, Cost per Unit, and analysis of cost variances.
– Monitor and improve Gross Margin, EBITDA, and overall profitability across products, customers, orders, and business units.
– Manage Cash Flow, Working Capital, AR, AP, Inventory, and Cash Conversion Cycle to optimize liquidity and capital efficiency.
– Evaluate and control CAPEX investments, including ROI, payback period, cash flow impact, and post-investment performance.
– Ensure compliance with Accounting, Tax, Customs, and financial regulations, particularly those related to import/export manufacturing operations.
– Lead External Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Control, and Risk Management activities.
– Develop effective Management Reporting systems covering Revenue, Cost, Margin, Profitability, Cash Flow, Working Capital, Inventory, and Budget vs. Actual.
– Build, manage, and develop a high-performing Finance & Accounting team, strengthening its capabilities in financial analysis, cost control, and business partnering.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Financial Management, or a related field.
– 10+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting, with at least 5 years at Finance Manager, Financial Controller, CFO, or equivalent level.
– Strong experience in manufacturing finance, preferably in wood, furniture, or export manufacturing.
– Experience working in an Export Processing Enterprise (EPE) environment is a strong advantage.
– Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, cash flow, and working capital management.
– Proven ability to work closely with senior management / BOD and provide strategic financial insights for business decisions.
– Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
– High level of integrity, accountability, and commercial awareness.
– Good command of English is preferred.
