Chief Accountant – Long An

H&HIS’s client is a well-established electronics manufacturing company operating in Vietnam. We are currently seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Chief Accountant based in Long An with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Lead and manage the company’s accounting and finance operations in compliance with Vietnamese accounting regulations and company policies.
– Oversee the accounting team and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
– Manage accounting processes, financial records, tax matters, and internal financial controls.
– Ensure compliance with applicable Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations.
– Prepare and review financial reports, accounting statements, and other financial information for management.
– Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management’s business decisions.
– Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
– Manage and develop the accounting team, ensuring effective performance and professional development.

Requirements
– Proven experience as a Chief Accountant/Head of Accounting or in a similar senior accounting position.
– Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting regulations, tax requirements, and financial reporting.
– Professional expertise in accounting and strong people management capabilities.
– Good command of spoken Chinese is required
– Experience in a manufacturing/electronics manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
– Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
– High level of integrity, accountability, accuracy, and professionalism.
