Head of Sales – Logistics & Supply Chain

H&HIS’s client is a leading global logistics and supply chain organization with a strong international presence across Asia-Pacific and worldwide markets in HCMC. We are currently seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Head of Sales (Logistics & Supply Chain) with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
– Drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability across freight forwarding and contract logistics portfolios.
– Identify market opportunities, customer trends, and competitive insights to enhance commercial performance.
– Monitor sales pipeline health, conversion rates, and overall sales effectiveness.
– Deliver and exceed commercial KPIs, revenue targets, and profitability objectives.
– Implement corrective actions for underperforming business segments and sales initiatives.
– Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
– Establish clear performance expectations, accountability, and coaching frameworks.
– Build succession plans and strengthen organizational sales capabilities.
– Promote a customer-centric and results-oriented culture.
– Collaborate closely with operations, product, and cross-functional teams to ensure business success.
– Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic customers and stakeholders.
– Act as a trusted advisor for major accounts and complex business opportunities.
– Partner with internal teams to deliver customized logistics and supply chain solutions.
– Represent the organization in key customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
– Enhance customer retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnership value.
– Ensure sales governance, CRM discipline, and reporting accuracy.
– Lead implementation of regional and global commercial initiatives within the local market.
– Provide business insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
– Identify and pursue strategic opportunities that support long-term business growth.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
– Over 8 years of experience within logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related industries.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales leadership positions.
– Proven success in driving revenue growth and building high-performing commercial teams.
– Strong understanding of freight forwarding, logistics solutions, and supply chain operations.
– Excellent strategic planning, business development, and stakeholder management capabilities.
– Fluent English communication skills; Vietnamese is highly preferred.
