Operations Director

H&HIS’s client is a large organization within the retail industry, recognized for its extensive market presence and commitment to delivering quality products and services in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, our client is looking for a candidate for the position of Operations Director with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Implement data-driven operational monitoring systems. Overseeing the financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
– Developing and implementing strategies to optimize retail operations and enhance overall performance.
– Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
– Lead the expansion strategy and restructuring of the retail store network
– Managing cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and operational excellence.
– Driving customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards across all retail outlets.
– Identifying growth opportunities and recommending innovative solutions to improve profitability.
– Monitoring and analyzing market trends to stay competitive within the retail industry.
– Providing leadership and mentorship to develop the skills and capabilities of team members.

Requirements
– Minimum 10 years of operations management experience within the retail sector at Senior levels, with prior experience in managing a large number of stores
– Advanced knowledge in operations management with large wholesaler or retailer
– Experience in developing and realizing budgets with P&L responsibility
– Entrepreneurial and customer focus, understands the retail business and how trading works
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills, assertive University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management,…
– Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
