Technical Manager (Furniture)

H&HIS’s client is a manufacturing company in Vũng Tàu City. Currently, our client is looking for a candidate for the position of Technical Manager (Furniture) with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Develop and manage the company’s technical processes and product quality standards.
– Coordinate with relevant departments (Production, Sales, Procurement, etc.) to ensure project/order schedules and technical requirements are met.
– Establish, monitor and achieve KPIs related to technical performance, quality, and production efficiency.
– Manage, review, and approve technical drawings and design documents before production implementation.
– Research and improve processes, technologies, and technical solutions to enhance productivity, product quality, and cost optimization.
– Manage, assign tasks, and train technical staff; supervise work execution to ensure compliance with procedures and safety regulations.
– Support the Production Department in troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring machinery and equipment operate smoothly.
– Control and monitor the use of materials according to technical requirements and standard norms.
– Evaluate product costing based on technical drawings and specifications.
– Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to the Board of Directors on technical performance, quality, and arising issues.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
– Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Head of Production Planning in a furniture manufacturing plant with at least 50 direct workers.
– Strong knowledge of natural wood, engineered wood, and other materials and accessories used in wooden furniture manufacturing.
– Preferably experienced in technical roles within the wooden furniture industry.
– Proven leadership and team management skills.
– Strong time management skills, with the ability to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
