Manufacturing Director

H&HIS’s client is a manufacturing company in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, our client is looking for a candidate for the position of Manufacturing Director with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Develop and coordinate production plans to meet export requirements for schedule, quality, and output.
– Optimize processes and implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S to improve productivity and reduce waste.
– Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure stable operations and maximum capacity utilization.
– Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of wood materials and accessories.
– Ensure the entire production chain complies with international standards (FSC, CARB, ISO 9001, etc.).
– Control production costs and analyze the return on investment for new equipment and technologies.
– Recommend solutions to save materials, reduce costs, and enhance production efficiency.
– Implement and monitor workplace safety, environmental policies, and legal compliance across all manufacturing activities.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Wood Technology, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production management at a large-scale furniture/wood manufacturing facility.
– Strong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, equipment maintenance management, and international quality standards.
– Strategic mindset with proven leadership skills and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
