Supply Chain Manager

H&HIS’s client is a maintenance tools & chemicals, technical equipment and labor protection equipment company in the automotive and industrial sectors in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, our client is looking for a candidate for the position of Supply Chain Manager with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Develop and manage purchasing plans to ensure a stable supply of materials and products.
– Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers for competitive pricing and quality.
– Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies.
– Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
– Improve warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency in receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
– Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards in warehouse safety and handling.
– Manage procurement and inventory through SAP, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
– Train and support team members in SAP functionalities for smooth daily operations.
– Work with IT and regional teams to enhance SAP-related processes.
– Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for efficient import/export operations.
– Optimize domestic transportation and last-mile delivery to meet customer demands.
– Ensure proper documentation for all shipments, complying with Vietnamese customs regulations.
– Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
– Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
– Drive process improvements to reduce costs and enhance supply chain efficiency.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business.
– At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in purchasing or logistics.
– Strong knowledge of SAP systems (mandatory).
– Experience in the chemical industry or international trading and warehouse operations is a plus.
– Familiarity with Vietnamese market trends, supplier networks, and customs regulations.
– Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
– Fluency in English; Vietnamese proficiency is an advantage.
