Director of Learning and Development

H&HIS’s client is a real estate group in Ho Chi Minh. Currently, our client is looking for a candidate for the position of Director of Learning and Development with the following responsibilities:

Job description
– Build and oversee comprehensive talent development strategies, including leadership pipelines, succession planning, and career frameworks, ensuring readiness for key roles. Lead the company Academy in implementing training programs that enhance workforce capabilities and align with corporate objectives.
– Develop and monitor performance management policies, ensuring accountability and alignment with organizational goals.
– Ensure the Group has a best practice performance management system that aligns to expected behaviors and recognition and the Group’s objectives.
– Work closely with HR Business Partners to establish and operate the performance management system to ensure timely goal setting and evaluation are aligned with the Group’s objectives.
– Develop leadership opportunities matching (LOM), Individual Development Plan (IDP) and Career Path.
– Design training programs with customized learning interventions to achieve the desired outcomes.
– Keeping up to date on the newest training trends, development, and practices.
– Monitors the organization to make proactive recommendations for change management and strategic planning purposes.
– Collaborate and deliver consulting to department heads to develop their staff individual development plan (IDP), follow-up the results of IDP execution.
– Create dedicated educators within the company to champion a learning culture and to coach team members on uncovering their knowledge deficits and meeting their learning objectives.
– Promote corporate alignment through communication and sharing about the Vision, Mission, Goals and Core Values of Company to Departments/ Business Units and Subsidiaries.
– Formulate policies and processes on corporate culture management to build a positive working environment and improving effectiveness for businesses
– Develop HR initiatives and perform engagement activities to inspire and improve employees’ well-being.
– Coordinate brainstorming and managing implementation of communication activities for Group-level projects and major events of the Group.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, HR Management, Training & Education is preferred.
– At least 10 years of professional experience with an emphasis on learning and development, talent development, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in companies with the same scale.
– Had experience in build-up Training Center/ Academy.
– Proficiency in English.
– Quickly understand the Organization’s development plan and organization’s human resource development needs
– Deep understanding of L&D deployment (practices, challenges, trends)
– Strong at training program, design, training methods and training skills.
– Training needs analysis
– Build an effective training program for executives, managers and employees on appropriate performance and behavior expectations.
– Analytical skills
– Good communication

– Ability to develop others
– Influential, Inspirational, Leadership skills
– Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
– Adaptive to new technology/ methodology
– Drive/Lead employees to live with company core values
