Chief Marketing Officer

H&HIS’s client is an automotive company based in Hanoi. We are currently seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Chief Marketing Officer with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for a new automotive brand, ensuring strong brand awareness, market demand generation, and direct support for business growth.
– Build the overall marketing strategy from the ground up, including brand positioning, communication strategy, and product launch plans.
– Lead all Brand and Performance Marketing activities, including Digital (Social Media, Paid Ads, KOL/Influencer marketing, Content), PR, Events, vehicle launches, and showroom activations.
– Work closely with the Sales team to ensure marketing initiatives generate qualified leads and directly contribute to sales performance.
– Build, manage, and develop the in-house marketing team as well as external agencies.
– Manage the marketing budget and measure performance effectiveness (ROI, CPL, CAC, etc.),…
– Coordinate with the China Headquarter to ensure brand guideline alignment and localization for the Vietnamese market.

Requirements
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing management roles (Head/Director level).
– Candidates with experience in automotive, electric vehicles, high-value consumer goods, or lifestyle brands are strongly preferred.
– Proven experience in building new brands, relaunching brands, or leading market entry initiatives.
– Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities; willing to work hands-on and build from scratch.
– Strong understanding of the Vietnamese market and automotive customer behavior.
– Proficiency in Chinese and/or English is an advantage but not mandatory.
