CEO (Manufacturing)

H&HIS’s client is a manufacturing company in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, our client is looking for a candidate for the position of CEO (Manufacturing) with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Develop and implement the company’s overall strategy, including product strategy, market strategy, financial strategy and human resource strategy.
– Be responsible for the company’s business performance to the Board of Directors/Chairman of the company.
– Monitor and direct production activities, ensure product quality, delivery schedule and optimize production costs.
– Develop and maintain a product quality management system.
– Research and apply new technologies and production processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
– Develop and implement business and marketing plans to expand the market and increase sales.
– Build and promote the company’s brand.
– Plan production strategies in line with the Company’s business strategy in each period.
– Organize and operate all production activities of carpentry and mechanical workshops to ensure productivity and quality on schedule with the most optimal cost.
– Take charge of building, maintaining and updating the implementation of production processes and quality regulations throughout the Company to ensure product quality for the Company.
– Take charge of building labor standards, raw material standards, and other consumption standards in production.
– Plan and coordinate production to ensure export orders are delivered on time, meeting quality and quantity requirements.
– Optimize production processes by implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
– Collaborate with the R&D and Design teams to develop product designs that align with international market demands.
– Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers of timber, accessories, and raw materials, as well as controlling inventory levels and costs.
– Ensure strict compliance with international quality standards such as FSC, CARB, ISO 9001, BSCI, and other export regulations.
– Supervise the maintenance and servicing of machinery and equipment to ensure stable operations and optimal capacity utilization.

Requirements
– Have at least 5 years of experience in production management and operation. Graduated from university or higher in business administration, economics, engineering or related majors.
– In-depth understanding of: Wood furniture production processes and export quality standards. Factory operations and supply chain optimization for raw materials. US and EU markets and their international certification requirements. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in dynamic business environments. Understanding of the interior field.
