CEO ASEAN

H&HIS’s client is a transportation company based in Ho Chi Minh City with its headquarters in Hanoi. Currently, our client is looking for a candidate for the position of CEO ASEAN with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Develop and implement the ASEAN regional growth strategy, expanding business operations into potential markets such as Indonesia, Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, and others.
– Oversee international operations, ensuring consistent service standards and achieving business objectives across all markets.
– Build and maintain a network of strategic partnerships by working closely with regulators, local authorities, investors, operating partners, and other key stakeholders within the ASEAN region.
– Lead and manage a multinational team, fostering a unified corporate culture and driving high-performance orientation.
– Ensure full compliance with legal regulations in each country and maintain sustainable operations aligned with ESG standards.
– Represent the corporate brand at regional events, enhancing the company’s reputation and expanding business relationships.
– Drive innovation and digital transformation across the entire business ecosystem to optimize operational efficiency and improve customer experience.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields. An MBA or international leadership certification is a strong advantage.
– Minimum 10 years of experience in senior management positions (CEO, COO, Managing Director) within multinational corporations.
– At least 5 years of experience in international market expansion, preferably within the Southeast Asian region. Prior experience in Logistics/Transportation/Electronics/FMCG is highly preferred.
– Leadership & Strategic Capabilities: Exceptional strategic thinking with a strong ASEAN growth orientation. proven ability to lead multicultural teams and inspire employees.
– Fluent in English (mandatory); proficiency in an additional ASEAN language is a plus.
– Strong skills in international communication, high-level negotiation, and partnership development.
– Entrepreneurial mindset: creative, decisive, and results-driven.
– Willingness to travel frequently across the ASEAN region.
– An extensive professional network within the logistics sector is a significant advantage.
