Automotive Sales Director

H&HIS’s client is an automotive company based in Hanoi. We are currently seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Automotive Sales Director with the following responsibilities:

Job Description
– Build and lead the overall business strategy for a new automotive brand in the Vietnamese market, from initial setup to scale-up phase.
– Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including pricing, distribution channels, and sales targets.
– Design and implement sales models: Dealer/Showroom, B2C and B2B (fleet, corporate sales).
– Recruit, train, and manage the sales team from zero to scale.
– Establish sales policies, commission schemes, and incentive programs for sales teams and dealers.
– Work closely with the Marketing team on lead generation, conversion, and product launch activities.
– Manage sales performance, forecasting, pipeline, and report directly to senior management,…
– Coordinate and work with the China Headquarter.

Requirements
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales management roles (Director/Head level preferred).
– Prior experience in automotive, motorcycle, durable FMCG, or high-value products is highly preferred.
– Proven experience in building teams, market entry, and setting up business operations from scratch.
– Strategic mindset with a strong hands-on approach; comfortable working in an unstructured, early-stage environment.
– Proficiency in Chinese and/or English is an advantage but not mandatory (interpreter available).
– Willingness to take risks and work under high pressure during the initial setup phase.
