Chief Accountant
H&HIS’s client is a manufacturing based in Ha Noi City. Currently, our client is looking for a candidate for the position of Chief Accountant with the following responsibilities:
Job Description
– Manage and organize the accounting system, books, and records in compliance with legal regulations.
– Guide, review, and supervise the daily accounting operations of the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and transparency of revenue, cost, expense, and asset data.
– Lead periodic (quarterly/annual) or ad-hoc inventory checks of raw materials, goods, and company assets.
– Develop and draft policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting and finance, as well as those relevant to other departments.
– Stay updated on legal regulations, tax policies, and accounting standards to advise management and guide accountants in compliance with accurate and lawful practices.
– Collaborate with the CEO and ERP leader to set up and implement digital transformation projects.
– Prepare and present regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annually), including revenue reports, expense reports, management reports, and financial statements.
– Monitor tax obligations and ensure timely and compliant submissions.
– Provide tax consulting, advise on legal tax optimization strategies for the company.
– Carry out tax finalizations in accordance with regulations and liaise with tax authorities during audits, inspections or when issues arise.
– Support the Board of Directors in developing annual budgets and financial plans.
– Propose process improvements and accounting software enhancements to increase efficiency.
– Build and manage the accounting department: recruit, train, and develop staff; assign objectives and evaluate performance; recommend rewards or disciplinary actions as appropriate.
– Perform other tasks as required by the Board of Directors.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing or Finance.
– Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing companies.
– Strong knowledge of legal regulations and operations of manufacturing businesses; capable of setting up organizational systems.
– Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.
– Strong skills in management, training, and staff development.
– Excellent planning, organizational, and supervisory skills.
– High sense of responsibility and proactiveness at work.
