Logistics Manager

H&HIS’s client is a Pharmaceutical company in Hanoi. Currently, our client is looking for a candidate for the position of Logistics Manager with the following specific information:

Job description
– Develop long-term and short-term logistics strategies in line with the company’s development goals.
– Develop monthly, quarterly and annual logistics plans, optimize operating costs, and increase supply chain efficiency.
– Ensure logistics strategies are synchronized with other departments in the company (accounting, sales, marketing, production).
– Monitor the process of transporting goods and managing warehouses to ensure these activities run smoothly, on schedule and cost-effectively.
– Optimize warehouse operations, select and negotiate with shipping partners and logistics service providers.
– Ensure quality and safety in goods transportation and storage activities.
– Participate in building, organizing, managing, and storing policies, working regimes, documents, databases, warehouses, and facilities in accordance with requirements/standards (ERP, GMP-WHO, GSP, GDP, GPP).
– Recruit, train, and develop logistics staff, creating a professional and effective working environment.
– Build and maintain work processes, evaluate the performance of employees in the logistics department.
– Establish and monitor the company’s logistics budget, monitor and control transportation, warehousing, packaging, and related service costs.
– Develop cost optimization plans while ensuring service quality.
– Apply new technologies, advanced logistics management software to increase work efficiency, monitor the status of goods, and improve logistics processes.
– Identify and implement process improvement initiatives, such as optimizing shipping routes and improving customer service quality.
– Ensure all logistics activities comply with legal regulations, industry standards and international requirements on transportation, insurance, safety and environment.
– Monitor and ensure necessary certifications and licenses for transportation and warehousing activities.
– Build and maintain long-term cooperative relationships with shipping partners, service providers and customers.

Job requirements
– Graduated from university or master’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Management Science, Industrial Engineering or related fields. Specialized certificates in Logistics, Supply Chain Management are an advantage.
– At least 5 years of experience in logistics in a senior management position (Director or senior manager in logistics companies). Priority is given to candidates with experience working in logistics service companies.
– Supply chain management, process optimization, technology in logistics.
– Proficient in logistics management software (WMS, TMS) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
